"We are creating a nationwide network of new, community level, renewable energy "development" companies, dedicated to leading the renewable energy efforts within their respective communities. We call this collective effort the CEED Program. CEED stands for Community Energy and Economic Development.

This program facilitates creation of a series of lead companies (known as CEED companies or CEED organizations), each serving the renewable energy needs of a certain population density (approximately 1:120,000). These lead companies, in turn, are responsible for establishing dozens of additional companies within their communities. Those companies will be the direct providers of the various renewable energy products and services needed by those communities."
