Category:Peer Economy Concepts
From P2P Foundation
The Peer Economy Concepts are a collection of key P2P Theory areas that undergird a P2P economic system. By collecting the concepts in one place we can show their relationships, and also begin to see how current use of terms builds on and in some cases transcends and includes previous usage.
In most cases you won't find new definitions of terms, but instead see more of the ways these these terms gain more or less priority in a P2P economic system versus one of the historical antecedents. As an example, possession is often a more common treatment of goods than claiming those goods as property. You can read up on those entries to read the related materials.
There are a number of drafts listed below that are under development that are related to the various workings of P2P economic systems. Some of them are higher level documents that operate based on definitions and documentation contained within other documents in this category. For example the Common Resources Distribution Pool operates based on the assumption of the presence of a P2P Network that is commons based focusing on the development and maintenance of goods that are shared and considered possessions instead of personal property.
If you choose to place pages into this category please make sure that there is sufficient context within the document to tie it in with a P2P economic system explicitly.
