History of Social Venture Wiki

From P2P Foundation

Paola Dimaio and Marc Fawzi started a discussion that related to efforts to fix Michel Bauwens' stolen computer problem.

This led to a number of discussions wherein the problem of funding small ventures and small projects through operations like Fundable could be used as micro-philanthropic tools.

Ryan Lanham suggested that they could extend the concept to micro-finance like projects as well, while others branched into wiki and governance areas.

Right now the project is a nascent Facebook Group discussion. This provides an opportunity to explore how social media tools like Facebook can interact with the P2P wiki infrastructure and discussion lists.
