“Justin Frankel, another creative mind that just can´t stop improving the experience of music. After developing the Winamp Media Player and inventing the P2P network Gnutella, he now fathered an internet conference jamming programm named Ninjam, as well as Reaper, the associated application for audio recording and editing.

Justin Frankel (29) - born in Sedona, Arizona in a camper - attended the University of Utah (Computer Science) in 1996, dropped after two quarters. He was co-developer of Winamp and released the media player as a freeware in May 1997, then founded Nullsoft to promote the Winamp software. In June 1999, AOL acquired Nullsoft and employed Frankel. He released a new peer-to-peer file sharing software called Gnutella together with colleague Tom Pepper on March 14, 2000.
