Knowledge Building Community
Definition
Defined by Tom Murray:
"Knowledge building community refers to “efforts to discover, improve, record, organize, and share knowledge. Knowledge building draws on the collective intelligence of a group engaged in researching, theorizing, critiquing, doing, and synthesizing in order to progressively evolve some body of theory and practice. Though modes and methods can differ widely, all communities of learning/practice/knowledge building share certain elements, with epistemological indeterminacy as one of the important concerns."
