"Born in Dresden in 1960, studied Philosophy and Marxism in Leipzig, worked freelance in Berlin East, on July 7th 1989 expelled from the authorities of former GDR, 1990-91 press speaker for the magistrate of Berlin (East), 1991 –1994 press speaker for the senator of youth and family Berlin, from 1995 project manager for gallery Eigen+Art, Berlin Biennale for Contemporary Art, organized 1997 with G. Lovink, P. Schultz the hybrid workspace – a temporary media lab at documenta X Kassel (http://www.medialounge.net/lounge/workspace/index.html)
1998 - 2000 founding member and chair of mikro e.V. (mikro.org), an association to promote media culture in Berlin, 1999-2000 director corporate communications of the company Subotnic, since October 2000 head of multi media department & IT of the federal agency for civic education, works in Bonn and Berlin, lives in Berlin."
