I'm interested in peer to peer technology because I believe it's conducive to a more efficient world. Politically, there is an argument to say that p2 ideology is a threat to centralised power or that it's a have for terrorism etc. None of that interests me. I'm interested in it because I believe in the concept as a a means to do business. Bit torrent, gnutella, napster etc. all made a name for themselves in p2p and changed the political landscape for music. I'm not interested in doing any of that. I just like efficient ways for people to communicate.My goal is to create a transparent pep application that attempts to hide nothing. You use it if you are doing public things. It is completely transparent. My plan is to make a system that has barriers to entry for all but the government, and read only. A rock solid p2p system that lets the governments read whatever they like but that's it - read. That's my goal!
