The Living Convention on Biocultural Diversity is dedicated to all Indigenous peoples
and local communities striving to realize the right to self-‐determination and to
maintain the integrity and resilience of their territories, areas and ways of life. It is
also in memory of Dr. Darrell Addison Posey, whose collaborative work on traditional
resource rights inspired the methodological approach to this publication
