"Radically Catholic, as opposed to “radical Catholics”, the latter being a political label suggestive of a political movement of some kind.

Rather than merely registering our various dissatisfactions with the world or with some corner of the Church or other, our project is an effort to move in the opposite direction: we want to share our enthusiasm about going to the roots of our faith in numerous ways, many of them wonderfully out of synch with the world these days. To say the same thing a different way, our goal is not to create or join a movement, but rather to encourage a widening of community. Catholic Social Teaching will naturally provide the backbone for our work, to be fleshed out by the literary styles and intelligence of writers " (email, May 2014)
