"The idea of a network for sharing gifts first came to Libor Malý in 2008 at the start of the global economic crisis.

We had many questions at the beginning, including: “How should we name a place where people are living in cooperation?” While seeking the answer, two words came up – “Heart” and “Earth”. Both share the same root. And when you merge them, you get Hearth.

So we found a symbol of the values that are important to us and that we want to advance.
